The Lewisham Scarf is a super-cozy, double-wrapped scarf with an original lace panel overlay. The base pattern for this long chunky scarf is worked in a simple slip-stitch pattern which
makes a warm, double layer. The scarf wraps around the neck twice and buttons at the front. This plain scarf is made fabulous by the addition of a decorative panel of lace.

The pattern is not yarn specific and is small enough to be a great stashbuster. The base should be knitted in a Super Chunky weight and the lace collar in a 4 ply merino yarn. More details are with the pattern in the book.

This scarf is one of the many patterns in Modern Vintage Knitting: Volume 2 which is available worldwide on Amazon.

The pattern for the matching fingerless gloves, shown in these images, is also available in the same book.
