Lexington Blanket
This beautiful throw blanket is a passion project, something I put my whole heart into. It’s soft and cozy, has a wonderful texture, and almost feels like a weighted blanket. It has a perfect drape from the extended single crochet and chain stitch pattern. The Hue + Me yarn is a great choice because it’s a wool blend but it’s also machine washable and dryable. If your home has children (like mine does!) then you will appreciate this attribute.
The pattern contains instructions for the 50” x 60” throw size and a 32” x 32” baby blanket size as well as instructions to make a custom size.
Supplies:
L (8.0mm) hook
Throw: 1,570-1,600 yards (12 skeins)/Baby: 565 - 580 yards (5 skeins) bulky (5) weight yarn such as Hue + Me
Scissors
Large tapestry needle
Measuring tape
Gauge is not super important to this pattern, I had testers change out their hook size or adjust the row and stitch count to make the size they wanted.
