L’Express is a top-down pullover worked in Lamana Como - an ultra-soft and uniquely light 100% superfine merino yarn. Luxurious and warm with dramatic colour-blocking at cuffs and hem, this is basically an elevated sweatshirt, perfect for everyday wear as well as for those occasions when a little casual chic is in order. Generous proportions and minimal shaping make it both modern and uber-comfortable. You will live in this!
(L’Express is named after one of our favourite Parisian-style bistros in Montreal serving French fare in a chic room with black and white checkered floors and a bar.)

A note about the recommended yarn weight for this sweater: Although Lamana Como is a DK weight yarn, we decided to indicate fingering to sport weight yarn for recommended yarn substitution because Como is incredibly lightweight and worked well at 23 sts / 4”. We knit our similar Gracious design using a fingering weight at the same gauge and love the drape. We think a sport weight would be equally lovely. While a standard DK weight yarn would work, please note that the fabric may be somewhat denser than intended.
While the body and sleeves of this sweater are easily customized, please note that adding length may affect yardage requirements.
Intended to be worn with approximately 4-10” / 10 - 25.5 cm of positive ease.
