Liam is my first nephew, born in 2009. I originally used this cable pattern for a baby hat for him. I really liked how the cables connect to each other and decided it was time to make it into a pair of mittens as well.
On the back hand side the cables start at the cuff and continues through out the mitten to the top of the fingers, the strands of the cable is attached to each other making a loop.
