I made this sweater for my partners son, who is in the Canadian Military. The colours red and green as specific to his Regiment, and the details specific to his Regiment’s History. Bottom detail is Red Blood on Green Grass, which is a representation of the Regimental Colours; Yoke detail is two rows of black barbed wire, Red and Green are the details from the Regimental Tie, and the Black Crosses are a tribute to the poem, In Flanders Fields, by CDN poet John McCrae.

Black is the colour of the Canadian Armoured Corps Beret
Green and Red are the colours of The Lord Strathcona’s Horse, LdSH, CDN

Liam is a big dude, so this sweater is an extra large.
