ABOUT THIS PATTERN:
A crocheted granny square bag can add such a fun pop of color to any outfit!

Five standard granny squares are joined together to create this fun bag. A sturdy drawstring strap guarantees your haul will be tucked away and well-protected.

The pattern includes instructions for the traditional granny square as well as the heart granny square so you can mix and match to create your own unique bag.

NOTE: The weight of your bag will depend on the weight of the yarn you use and on whether or not you decide to line it.
If you prefer a more lightweight bag, try an acrylic or acrylic/cotton blend yarn.

SIZING & YARDAGE:
Laying Flat: 8” W x 10” L
Strap / Drop: 36” L / 7” drop

Approx. 500 yds total of worsted weight yarn
Approx 225 yds (main color) - 275 yds (contrast)

OPTIONAL SUPPLIES:
1 - sheet of Plastic canvas (optional)
8 - sets of ½” grommets & tools (optional)
Hammer for attaching grommets

SKILL LEVEL: Easy/Intermediate
