Libra
I named this pattern Libra as it reminded me of a scale, swinging back and forth, in and out of equilibrium with each added panel. It is worked with one minikin being used from start to finish for each panel and is reminiscent of a log cabin quilt design, with progressively built segments. I’ve worked it here using 6 Superwash Sport Minikins but you could easily add more Minikins to make a bigger shawl or sub in our Fingering Minikins for a non-superwash version. This is a fun, hard-to-put-down and very portable project!
Finished size approximately 48” long (tip to tip) and 24” deep.
Uses 6 Superwash Sport Minikins as shown but you can use any number to expand the size of the shawlette.
Mostly worked in garter stitch (knit all sts every row) with an Icord edge on all sides for a polished look.
