Lichen beanie

An awesome slightly slouchy beanie hat knitted with the finest merino slim by the talented dyers in Nova Scotia, Canada. Fleece Artist yarn is simply divine and irresistible to work with.

A smocked stockinet stitch is simple to execute and shows off the color work beautifully. If you have a skein of fingering variegated yarn you are unsure what to do with, this is the pattern for you.

Yarn requirements: Fleece Merino slim fingering weight 1 skein (it comes with a whooping 470 yards!!!) I used about a 3 rd. of a skein. My colour way was Beach.

Always take time to check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary.
