The Lichen Scrunchie is a linen stitch hair accessory. This beautifully textured scrunchie is done in a lovely linen stitch to achieve a woven look with knitting. It’s knit in the round in one single piece and stitched together using mattress stitch. This pattern is quick, fun and that’s perfect for scrap-busting!

Pattern Features

Technique: Linen stitch - uses slip stitches to create a textured fabric that resembles woven fabric. This technique is clearly outlined in the pattern.

Materials Needed
Yarn: 55-65grams (110 to 130 meters) DK weight yarn. Sample uses Hedgehhog fibres Merino DK in colourway Sugar.
Needles: Size US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles.Other: Hair elastic, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
