Three skeins of Tosh Chunky will make two cowls which should ease the pain in the $$ department. One will be slightly narrower but still plenty wide. Other suggested yarns: Tanis Aran, Cascade 128, Malabrigo Chunky. These last two will have slightly larger guages but this matters not.
