Soft but sturdy little container using only 100 yards of bulky tape yarn and can be accomplished in just one day!
Makes a quick, inexpensive, and impressive gift. I know! I’ve gifted a bunch of them.

The basket is approximately 5” x 7” and is worked in the round, starting at the base. Some experience working in the round and a good understanding of stitch structure will help the project go faster, but I’ve included detail photos to assist with the pattern stitch.

Gauge is unimportant, but if you choose a lighter yarn, you may want to add a round or two to the base.

There are many delightful tape and ribbon yarns that might work well for this project, but anything very stretchy or lightweight should be avoided.
