Abbreviations
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
St(s) - stitch(es)
Dc - double crochet
Sl st - slip stitch

Notes
The pattern uses US Standard Terms
Ch 3 at the beginning of the row counts as a st.
The cowl is worked flat in rows and then sewn together.
For a longer cowl, add more sts to the starting ch.
