Lido Bikini Top or Bra

A simple classic shape for bikini top or bra. Designed to match the Lido Shorts, based on the same granny square as in this top.

The little square in each side of the cups, is base for the cup-shape. It’s slightly see-through without reviling any details!
This square is used also in my Florence Granny-Lace Dress, and in the Flower Power Hippie Sandals.

The top looks great in one solid color, but the cute wave-border is perfect for adding your personal color-combos.

10 pages. Written instructions, step-by-step pics, stitch-diagram for both cups, and separate diagrams for the granny-square.

Equal instructions for all sizes.
Yarn- and hook-size determine the square-measure you need for your size.

Materials:

Yarn:
Fingering/1 /group A/ 3 ply. Mercerized 100 % cotton. Use cotton-mix or Lycra if you intend to use the top as swim-wear.
Weight/length per skein, and WPI, is given in pattern for each size.

Hook:
2,5 mm (C/2) - 3 mm (C/3) or 3,5 mm (E/4), depending on size.

Sizes:
Small - Cup A: US 6-8 - EU: 34-36 - UK/AU: 8-10
Medium - Cup B: US 8-10 - EU 38-40 - UK/AU: 10-12
Large - Cup B-C: US 10-12 - EU 40-42 - UK/AU: 12-14
