Lido Brioche Headband
Easy to knit brioche headband is the perfect middle season accessory.
This pattern is easy to follow and SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS knitting their first ever brioche piece. The headband is worked in one piece back and forth on straight or circular needles. YARN SUGGESTIONS:
Medium weight yarn (aran/worsted) approximately 100 m.
- Drops - Daisy (50g = 110 m) and Kid Silk (25g = 210 m). One strand of each yarn is held together.
- Föa - Natua (50g = 100 m) and Föa - Nuvia (25g = 225 m). One strand of each yarn is held together.
- Föa - Tinta (100g = 200 m) and Föa - Nuvia (25g = 225 m). One strand of each yarn is held together.
- Knitting For Olive - Heavy Merino (50g = 125m).
- Filcolana - Peruvian (50g = 100m). or any yarn to obtain the gauge.
GAUGE:
16 x 20 stitches in briche stitch = 10 cm (4 in) using the needles No. 4.5 mm (US/UK 7), after washing and blocking.
NEEDLES:
Circular or straight needles No. 4.5 mm (US/UK 7), 1 marker and tapestry needle.
SIZES:
S (M) L: 51 (53) 55 cm. Head circumference: 55 (57) 59 cm Headband is knitted with 4 cm negative ease.
Width is 10.5 cm.
