Life's Rich Tapestry
Erratum - having checked the pattern I see that I the row numbers for the set-up are not as I intended.
So instead the instruction should be work set-up chart (rows 1-20) once and then work the main chart (rows 1-60).
I love the effects you get when you use 2 colourways of the same self-striping yarn - I find they weave together to form a rich tapestry (with no extra effort on the knitter’s part - very satisfying !!) And like life - you never know in advance how it will turn out, and each one will be different.
A very flexible, relaxing knit (you can just knit until you run out of yarn or like the size) - it’s mosaic knitting so you only work with one yarn at a time and slip the other colour - you get fancy-looking colourwork with virtually no effort)
Use 2 colourways of the same striping yarn for the rich tapestry effect
or use one striping yarn and a solid
