SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE
The stitches are basic, but alternating between hdc and sl st can sometimes be difficult for a beginner.

YARN WEIGTH: Yarn Weight: #3 light worsted weight, DK Stylecraft Classique Cotton DK, 100 % Cotton; 50 g, 92 m (100 yds) per skein, colors:

C1: Wheat 3967, 1 skein, 40 m (43.7 yds)
C2: Vintage Pink 3963, 1 skein, 25 m (27.3 yds)

HOOK: 4 mm US F/6 crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE: 14 hdc x 12 rows = 10 cm (4’’) square

CONSTRUCTIONS
The hook case is worked flat in rows in the shape of a long rectangle, decreasing the number of stitches at the top to create a triangular closure. The rectangle is folded and seamed to create the case.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Closed hook case is approximately 17 cm (6.7”) long X 9 cm (3.5”) wide
Open: 22 cm (8.7”) long X 9 cm (3.5”) wide
