Large Blanket: 39” wide x 48” long
XL Blanket: 45” wide x 60” long

YARN: Lion Brand Basic Stitch Anti-Pilling #4 weight yarn in five (5) colors. Yarn colors shown in sample:

Color A: Silver Heather #404

Color C: Charcoal Heather #403

This design will work with many combinations of five yarn colors. When selecting colors consider:

Colors A & C: medium or dark neutrals
Colors B & D: moderately colorful
Color E: a bright or light color

Color A: 2 skeins (370 yards / 200 g)
Color B: 2 skeins (370 yards / 200 g)
Color C: 3 skeins (555 yards / 300 g)

XL Blanket:

KNITTING NEEDLES: US size 8 knitting needles, straight or circular (or size to obtain gauge)

GAUGE: Garter stitch with US size 8 needles: 16 sts & 34 rows (17 garter ridges) = 4”
