This is a cute and feminine wide-striped cardigan with a ruffle for a toddler girl.

It’s very easy to knit because it’s entirely in garter stitch and there’s a minimal amount of sewing.

The body and sleeves are knit in garter stitch in 1 piece. The ruffle and neckband are added on.

It can be done in any 3 colors in the same family from light to dark. I used a light green, a medium aqua and a deep turquoise.

This pattern is in size 2 years – 12” wide x 14” tall. It can easily be adapted to other sizes by increasing or decreasing the number of stitches based on the gauge to obtain desired measurements.
