Seethrough and featherweight, Light is a wide and elegant shawl, with an almost circle shape.

It is worked from the neck down with two yarn weights :

• a fingering yarn (100g/400m) : 125g to be on the safe side.
• a cobweb (or fine lace) yarn (100g/900m or 1000m) : 35g (you might need much less with a true cobweb)

Pattern is available both in French and English, all written instructions, but I added a chart for the lace border.

This shawl can easily be made longer or shorter by simply knitting more or less stripes. (But be warned that during blocking it will grow a lot!)

For a neater top edge instructions are included using a 3mm crochet hook.
Other tools : 11 stitch markers, tapestry needle to weave in ends, blocking pins (lots : 250+)

Transparent et léger, Light est un châle enveloppant et élégant, de forme presque circulaire.

Il est tricoté depuis le cou vers la bordure en utilisant 2 fils différents :

• un fil à chaussettes (100g/400m) : 125g si on prévoit un peu large pour ne pas manquer (mais ça oscille plutôt autour de 110g)
• un fil cobweb (ou à dentelle mais fin) (100g/900m ou 1000m) : 35g environ (moins si vous avez un vrai fil cobweb)

Le modèle est disponible en Français et en Anglais. Les instructions sont intégralement écrites, mais il y a aussi un diagramme pour la bordure en dentelle.

Ce châle s’agrandit ou se raccourcit très simplement en faisant plus ou moins de rayures (mais attention, durant le blocage il grandit beaucoup).

Les instructions incluent aussi un bord au crochet le long des côtés, avec un crochet 3mm.
Autre matériel : 11 marqueurs, une aiguille pour rentrer les fils, et beaucoup d’épingles pour le blocage (250 environ)
