Lighter Skies hat features simple repeated lace that continues throughout the crown decreases. A lightweight, lacy hat perfect for not-too-cold winter days. There is a heavier weight version, Avalon Skies, for cooler days.

Yarn: Chaos Fiber Co. Tonal Elite, 75% Superwash Merino/25% nylon, 436 yards/100g. Sample knit in Cool Water Roses. Sample uses approximately 135 yards.

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or your preferred method for knitting in the round; size 3 US (3.25 mm) or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 28 stitches/32 rows in 4” blocked stockinette in the round. One repeat is 1.25” wide by 2.5” high.
