Measures: 70in wingspan x 35in deep (178cm x 89cm) aggressively blocked

Yarn: solid color option--600yds (549m) of your favorite dk weight yarn (Sample-Malabrigo Silky Merino, 4 skeins #415 Matisse Blue, 51% silk, 49% merino wool, dk weight, 150yds/50g); two color option--3 skeins main color, 1 skein contrasting color

Notions: split ring stitch markers, desired embellishments, yarn needle and blocking supplies for finishing

Fun fact: Designated as the official state shell of Texas in 1987, the Lightning Whelk has distinctive coloring and is one of the few shells that spiral counterclockwise to open on the left.
