Here is a sickle-shaped shawl that can be knitted in a variety of yarns. Try variegated yarns, experiment with needle sizes to obtain the fabric you like. I recommend using larger needles for the edge in patent stitch. The sample is 74 cm in the hight but you can make the shawl larger or smaller by extending/dininishing the main section. Make a wider border, if you wish.
