“Like a Waffle” is a quick-to-knit raglan cardigan with a lovely waffle pattern on the body. The sleeves come with two options: bell-shaped or balloon-shaped.
It is worked from the top down back and forth with raglan increases and German short rows are used to shape the front neck. After the sleeves are set aside at the underarm, the body is worked to the hem with Waffle pattern. The sleeves are knit in the round with increases, to 3/4 length for Bell sleeve version and full length for Balloon sleeve version. The front and neck edging are neatly finished using I-cord, with integrated buttonholes.

“Like a Waffle”は, 身頃にWaffle模様が入った, 早く編めるラグラン型のカーディガンです. 袖にはベル型とバルーン型の2つのオプションがあります.
トップダウン式にラグランの増目をしながら襟から編みます. 前襟下がりにはドイツ式の引き返し編みが使われています. 脇下まで進めたら袖目を休ませ, 身頃にWaffle模様を入れて裾まで編みます. 袖は輪編みで増し目をしながらベル型は7分丈に, バルーン型は長袖に編みます. 身頃と襟の縁は, ボタンホールを作りながらI-コードで綺麗に仕上げます.
