There is nothing sweeter than a handmade sweater on a newborn baby! We are welcoming our third child to the family late this year, so I wanted to give him his own squishy sweater and hat set to come home in. The ribbed stitch effect adds some nice texture to this simple sweater. Constructed in one piece, with just a bit of side seaming, this set is so easy peezy!

Please note: as of right now, this sweater is only available for sizes 0-3 months. I’m hoping to have other sizes available by the end of the year, so please favorite to get updates!

Pattern Details:
Gauge: 14 hdcs and 8 rows = 4 inches using a 5mm hook

Size(s): For babies between 18-24 inches height, and up to 12 lbs.

BONUS: Includes pattern for matching hat!

Materials Needed:
• 5mm crochet hook
• 350 yards worsted weight yarn (I used one skein of Big Twist Soft in Denim to make both the sweater and hat!)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch markers (optional, but recommended)
• 3.5” (85mm) pom pom maker (optional, but recommended)
