So I came across this vintage pattern (I believe its from the 1050’s) and just had to remaster this into something more retro.. And of course easier to work up.. With yarns readily available and a easier to read pattern. I came up with the idea to work this into not just a potholder/oven mitt but to make it more versatile and make it into a utensil pocket.. For storing mixing spoons etc.
So off to work I went and I just love the way it came out!
Of course you can work this up with different yarn Weight ( I used lily Sugar & Cream cotton yarn ) and hooks to make it smaller or even bigger, or try it with different colors.. Imagination is key!
