This shawl is knitted from one end to the other. You increase on one side to get to the biggest width then you decrease until the end.
The idea was given to me by a little weasel from the shop Lil Weasel, she couldn’t find the right shawl for her. With the beautiful yarn hand dyed by Lil Weasel, I created Lumikko and now I share it with you.

Gauge
Garter stitch : 26 m x 44 rg
Weaving stitch : 34 m x 58 rg
Single Tuck Stitch : 26 m x 42 rg

Pattern notes
≈ In Single Tuck stitch (same family as brioche stitch), every row is worked twice before turning the work to the other side. First with color A, then you slide all these stitches on the needles to start the same row again. Then you knit with color B until the end of the row and then you turn your work. That is why you need circular needles or double pointed needles to knit this shawl.

Ce châle est commencé par l’une des petites pointes, augmenté d’un seul côté pour obtenir la grande pointe, puis diminué du même côté, pour obtenir l’autre petite pointe.
L’idée m’a été soufflée par une charmante petite Belette de Lil Weasel, qui malgré l’immensité du web mondial et Ravelry, n’arrivait pas à trouver Le CHÂLE. Avec ses indications et le magnifique fil teint par Chef Belette, j’ai créé Lumikko que maintenant, je partage avec vous.

C1 : 1 écheveau de Lil Weasel Pure Lil, pour ma version, j’ai choisi le coloris Un été à Grenade
C2 : 270 m de Lil Weasel Pure Lil, pour ma version, j’ai choisi le coloris Dark deeds
C3 : 220 m de Lil Weasel Pure Lil, pour ma version, j’ai choisi le coloris Campfire

Notes
Pour tricoter le Point Single Tuck (point de la même famille que le point brioche), chaque rang est tricoté 2 fois. Une fois avec la couleur A, puis on glisse les mailles sur l’aiguille pour recommencer le même rang, ensuite on tricote avec la couleur B et, enfin on retourne le travail pour faire le rang suivant. Vous avez donc besoin d’aiguilles circulaires ou d’aiguilles à 2 pointes pour réaliser ce châle.
