Lil' Sampler Baby Blanket
Lil’ Sampler is a fun and easy intermediate level crochet project inspired by long traditions of country style samplers where varying textural stitch squares are sewn together to create one-of-a-kind handmade heirlooms. Practice 5 different stitches from the classic cluster stitch to a bobbled heart motif. The elegant knit look border gives the blanket a clean and tidy finish while not competing with the sampler stitches, and pompoms at each corner add a touch of whimsy. While this blanket is relatively small and intended for babies, you can enlarge the size by adding more of your favorite sampler squares, you’ll just need more yarn for the design. As is, this pattern makes a perfect little cozy wrap for bundling baby or a lovely handcrafted gift for someone special. Enjoy the process and as always, crochet something beautiful! CM

It is recommended to block each square before assembly if any squares are off.
The ribbed square sample is deliberately designed slightly smaller than the others as it has a lot of stretch and fits easily with the overall blanket assembly.
