Lilac is a simple cardigan with three little refinements. First, there is the construction. The cardigan is knit in one piece from top to bottom (Contigious construction). The saddle shoulder defines a nice transition from the shoulder into the sleeve.
The second highlight is the front panel, the cables are broken up by the lace pattern and get more lightness. The sleeves are knitted extra long and are meant to fall into slight folds at the arm. The tight cuffs create a beautiful finish.
Finally, something about the yarn mix. Baby Merino is knitted here together with Manada and makes the jacket so soft and light.

20 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 inch with 2 threads held together, needle size 4.5 mm / US 7 in stockinette stitch after blocking.

NEEDLES + NOTIONS
Main needle: 80 cm circular needle size 4.5 mm/US 7 (Main needle) and size 3.5 mm / US 4 (smaller needle); and matching DPN needles for the sleeves, if you don’t want to use magic loop.
A crochet hook for CO. Stitch markers, 2 safety pins, two stitch holder or waste yarn.

Das zweite Highlight ist die vordere Blende, die Zöpfe werden durch das Lacemuster aufgebrochen und erhalten so mehr Leichtigkeit. Die Ärmel werden extra lang gestrickt und sollen am Arm in leichte Falten fallen. Die engen Bünd-chen schaffen einen schönen Abschluss.
Abschließend noch etwas zum Garn Mix: Baby Merino wird hier zusammen mit Manada verstrickt und macht die Jacke so soft und leicht.
