Diese Mütze heißt ‘Nine Ways’, weil man sie auf mindestens neun Arten tragen kann :) Mal doppelt, mal gerollt, mal gewendet, mal die Haare oben durchgeführt oder als Cowl. Die beiden Farben werden in verschiedenen Strukturen gestrickt, die Mütze hat zwei Rollrändchen und Kordeln zum Zusammenziehen.

Es geht jedes Sockengarn mit 75% Wolle 25% Polyamid/Nylon und 400 - 420 m / 100 g, man braucht je 100 g in zwei verschiedenen Färbungen. Natürlich kann man sie auch aus vielen Resten ganz bunt stricken oder eine Hälfte einfarbig und die andere bunt und braucht dann entsprechend weniger. Ich habe eine melierte fliederfarbene Sockenwolle und eine mit langem Farbverlauf von Grün nach Blau verwendet, und für die abgebildete Mütze in Größe M 125 g gebraucht.

Die Anleitung ist für die Größen S (54 - 55 cm Kopfumfang), M (56 - 57 cm) und L (58 - 59 cm), erklärt wird auch das Kordeldrehen. Viele Fotos zeigen die verschiedenen Tragemöglichkeiten.

This hat is called ‘Nine Ways’, because it can be worn in at least nine ways :) One time double, one time rolled, one time turned, one time you put your hair through, or as a cowl. The two colours are knitted in different textures, the hat has two rolling edges and strings to tighten.

You can use any sock yarn with 75% wool 25% polyamide/nylon and 437 - 459 yards / 3.53 ounces. You need two skeins of 3.53 ounces in different dyeings. Of course you can make it from a lot of leftovers or one half uni and the other half colourful, then you need less yarn. I had a semisolid lilac sock yarn and a sock yarn with a long colour gradient from green to blue and used for the example in size M shown on the picture 4.41 ounces.

The pattern is written for sizes S (21.3 - 21.7 inches circumference of the head), M (22.0 - 22.4 inches) and L (22.8 - 23.2 inches). It is explained as well how to make the strings. Many pictures show the different possibilities to wear the hat.
