The concept for this scarf started with a gorgeous skein of yarn and the lace edging stitch pattern. Garter Stitch was added to give width. The scarf is worked tip to tip in one piece.

This project is intended for that one beautiful skein of yarn that you just had to have.

The lace section is a 22-row repeat. There is 1 cable worked in the first row that starts the shaping of the lace section.

Gauge is not real critical because this is a scarf. You do want to create a nice drapey fabric.
