Graceful and elegant cable patterning is enhanced with beaded lace borders in an open flowing design. This stole was inspired by Block C from the Cable Factor Sampler Throw.

The cable panel is from my pdf stitch collection The Cable Factor Volume 2, and the lace design is from my book Stitch Definition. The cabled side borders were designed for this layout. Directions are given for adding beads to the lace borders; 208 are used in the sample.

The main body is knit first, then stitches are picked up for the lace borders. The overall length is easily adjusted by altering the number of row repeats in either section. The type and thickness of your chosen yarn will also affect the finished size.
