Lilien Fee is a beautiful triangular shawl with a border of delicate lace lilies over a fairy like all over pattern.

The shawl is worked from the top down and all wrong side rows are purled. It can be made in four different sizes and features nupps in the lily border for added interest.

The width (wingspan) of the shawl stretches from

55” / 140 cm for size 1
65” / 165 cm for size 2
74” / 188 cm for size 3
99” / 250 cm for size 4.

Gauge and finished size measurements should be seen as guidance only and depend on the yarn weight and needle size chosen, as well as the degree of blocking.

Approx. yardage requirements for lace weight yarns are:

Size 1 440 yds / 400 m
Size 2 570 yds / 520 m
Size 3 820 yds / 750 m
Size 4 1100 yds /1000 m.

Some experience with lace knitting will be useful. The pattern is in form of charts and as fully written instructions and are suitable for advanced beginners.
