Lily petals have a way of being so graceful and dazzling with their twisting curves. This stitch pattern, with its delicate flowing curves and layers, reminds me of Lilium Regale’s exquisite white petals bursting open and curling back to put on their show. Lilium Regale wrap, knit up in this sumptuous alpaca silk, is just large enough to keep warm and with the perfect amount of lace to leave you with a dreamy feeling like you’re in your own lily oasis.

Lilium Regale wrap looks more complex than it is! The same motif is repeated throughout, making it easy to memorize and a relatively quick knit. As well, there are never more than two different motif rows worked at any one time across the repeats.

This wrap is the second design in The Conservatory Collection series. Similarly to Eden Rose and Tulipa Hollandia wraps, Lilium Regale is knit from one end to the other, alternating between lace and stockinette.

This pattern includes charts, as well as fully written, line by line instructions.

26 sts x 36 rows = 4”/10 cm (in stockinette stitch, after blocking)

US 2.5/3 mm needles
US 6/4 mm needles (Used for the final BO only; a DPN would suffice.)

Construction:
Lilium Regale wrap begins with one motif, additional repeats are then cast on until the full width is reached. The first panel is completed by ending the motif repeats in the same way. Once the desired length is knit, the second panel begins again. Prefer a narrower or shorter wrap? Adapt the width and length to your preference by adding or reducing repeats.
