It is a beginner friendly knitting pattern that includes sizes from newborn to 4 years (newborn, 0-3 months 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, 2-4 years).

Gauge: 4 in / 10cm – 21 stitches in stockinette stitch

you will need a skein of DK yarn and needles to obtain the gauge - you will have to make a gauge swatch to make sure you match the gauge.
you can also use finer yarns and larger needles if you want a daintier look.
