The Lillehammer Pullover is an all-over stranded colourwork pullover, with a 80s inspired oversized fit and a dropped shoulder construction. The largest sizes have modified dropped shoulder construction for a better fit. The pattern is calculated to have around 30 cm of positive ease, with large sleeves to complement the silhouette. The entire pullover is knitted in the round and uses steeking to make that possible. The body is worked bottom-up, adding steek bridges for the sleeves and the front neck where necessary. After cutting the steeks, the collar is added and the sleeves are worked top down.

Pullover’s Sizes:
There are nine sizes in total, and the pullover is meant to have 25 to 30 cm (10 to 12 in) of positive ease. The finished pullover’s measurements are:
Bust: 104 (114) 124 (134) 144 (154) 164 (174) 184 cm / 41.5 (45.5) 49.5 (53.5) 57.5 (61.5) 65.5 (69.5) 73.5 in
Shoulder to Shoulder: 52 (57) 62 (67) 72 (73) 75 (76) 77 cm / 20.5 (22.5) 24.5 (26.5) 28.5 (28.7) 29.5 (30) 30.5 in
Keep in mind the positive ease is based on bust measurements and that the pullover is specifically designed with 30 cm of positive ease; choosing a smaller size than normal may cause some fit issues.

Suggested Gauge:
The gauge for the stitch pattern used is 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) = 20 sts x 23 rows on 4 mm needles. Keep in mind this gauge is achieved after blocking the swatch/pullover.

Suggested Needles:
4 mm (US 6): 40 cm (16 in) circular, 80/100/120 cm (32/40/47 in) circular (depending on size) and double-pointed needles
3.5 mm (US 4): 40 cm (16 in) circular, 80/100/120 cm (32/40/47 in) circular (depending on size) and double-pointed needles

Suggested Yarn:
Two colours of DK-weight yarn or other yarn combinations that make a nice fabric with this gauge. Yarn used for the sample is Drops Lima (50 gr = 100 m). Other options can be Drops Karisma, Drops Daisy, Sandnes Double Sunday, Cascade Yarns Merino DK or West Wool Tandem.

Yarn Used: 400 (420) 450 (470) 500 (510) 520 (530) 540 gr of Drops Lima in Blue Indigo 4305 as the main colour and 290 (300) 320 (340) 350 (360) 370 (380) 390 gr of Drops Lima in Chalk 9025 as the contrast colour.
