Die Tunika “Lilli in Swing”, gestrickt aus dem Garn von 100Farbspiele.
Dieses Garn eignet sich besonders gut, da es keine wiederkehrenden Farbverläufe hat.
Beide Garnenden stehen mir zur Verfügung, somit kann man mit dem Innen und Außenfaden tolle Farbeffekte erzielen, ohne andersfarbige Garne einzusetzen.
Selbstverständlich könnt ihr jedes andere vergleichbare Garn mit schönen Farbverläufen verwenden, oder mehrere Unis.
Probiert es einfach aus.

Die Idee zu dieser Tunika kam mir, als ich ein ähnliches Kinderkleidungsstück entworfen habe, welches demnächst als Anleitung erscheinen wird.

Schritt für Schritt führe ich Euch durch die Anleitung, wie Ihr es gewohnt seid!

Entworfen und ausgearbeitet ist die Tunika für Grösse 42/44, wiegt ca. 350g.
Größenangaben 38/40 findet ihr in Klammern gesetzt.
Für alle weiteren Größen tüftelt bitte selber! ;)

Technik:
verkürzte Reihen und Swing-Light™

Hilfreich sind 4 Maschenmarkierer unterschiedlicher Farbe
ebenso 2 silberne und 2 schwarze Sicherheitsnadeln.

For the “Lilli in Swing” tunic, I used 100Farbspiele yarn – having no repeating color sequences, it can be used from both ends of the skein at the same time and is especially suitable for this kind of design.
You may use any other long color repeat gradient yarn as well – try and find out what you like best.

The step by step written instructions can be worked by everyone even without prior Swing knitting™ experience. Photographs are grouped towards the end of the 12-page pattern for those who want to skip printing them.

Gauge:
20 sts / 23 ridges [46 rows] = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 in] in garter stitch.

Materials and tools needed:
– (2) skeins 100Farbspiele 4fädig, 750 meters / 200 grams [820 yds/7 oz] each, approx. 350 grams [12.5 oz] total for the pictured tunic in size Medium
– either (2) circular knitting needles 3.5 mm [US 4], 120 cm [47 in] long, or (1) circular knitting needle 3.5 mm [US 4], 150 cm [60 in] long
– 4 stitch markers, preferably in different colors, or marked #1, #2, #3, #4
– (2 to 3) silver colored safety pins
– (2 to 3) dark colored safety pins

Techniques:
German short-row technique with Double stitch, explained in pattern. CO, k, p, BO, k2tog, working in the round

Size Medium (European size 42/44) and size Small (European size 38/40) given in pattern. For additional sizes, adjust needle size and try for yourself what will work best.

A child’s version of this garment (slightly different) will be published in the near future.
