Dedicated to those that have been touched by infertility, miscarriage and still birth. Lillie’s Dream is a journey of hope, faith, love, strength, endurance, heartbreak, acceptance and happiness.
About the design
Lillie’s Dream flowed from my hook as my heart was heavy and sad after another month of failing to fall pregnant after 4 years of trying. 2 years on, i am ready to share my journey through this very heartfelt design. Accepting what life has for us without a baby, it is time to move to a new chapter and hopefully give comfort to those going through the journey of infertility, miscarriage or still birth.
Lillie is a name i have always wanted for a daughter, granted i was blessed with a daughter 13 years ago, Lillie (Lily as in the flower) however, is a name that means ‘innocence, purity and beauty’ but also too it was my paternal great grandmothers name, which i recently learned.
Openly speaking about infertility, miscarriage and still birth creates awareness. If you have been touched by any one of these, being yourself, daughter, sister or aunt, i hope this blanket gives you much comfort with your journey to healing.
