This cardigan is worked seamlessly, top down, with a round yoke, worked in an interesting pattern of ribbing and eyelets. The yoke is worked flat. When the underarm is reached, the sleeve stitches are put on waste yarn or holders while the remainder of the body is worked. The sleeve stitches (one sleeve at a time) are placed on needles and worked in the round. Stitches for the front bands are then picked up and knitted. You may work as many or as few buttonholes as you prefer.
