The Lily Cardigan is a classic raglan. Cardigan knitted on circular needles from the top down in one piece with raglan increases. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or using the magic loop technique. Pockets are sewn on the front shelves symmetrically. This cardigan should be worn with 4-8 inches/10-20 cm in positive ease at chest.
The sizes 3-4 years (5-6 years) 7-8 years (9-10 years) 11-12 years correspond to a chest measurement of approximately 20.5-21.5 (22-23) 23.5-25 (25.5-27) 27.5-30 inches/53-55 (56-58) 59-63 (64-69) 70-76 cm.

Suggested needles:
U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle; U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) double-pointed needles, if the sleeves are will be not worked using the Magic Loop Technique (or the necessary needle size to obtain gauge)
Suggested yarn:
DK (11 wpi) weight yarn (Acrylic 55%, Alpaca 30%, Wool 15%; 100g (3.53Oz) = 273 yds (250 m): 180 (200) 235 (275) 320 g. Alize Alpaca Royal used.
