Lily of the Valley
This is a pattern designed for that squishy, lovely skein you always buy on a whim! (DK or worsted weight would be perfect for this!)
It combines the bandana-shaped front of a triangular shawl draped around your neck, with the simplistic size and shape of a cowl, so all yardage goes to the design, no pesky ends to wrap, pin or keep up with!
A semi solid/tonal or even a lightly variegated yarn would be perfect, as there is a little bit of lace and texture throughout.
Each finished cowl/shawl-- showl?-- cawl?-- whatever you call it, uses up one skein (super efficient) and is knit on a size 9 needle (super quick) What more could you ask for? I can’t wait to see all your lovely projects!
