Lily Of The Valley
This pattern is the essential me. I worked really hard for the idea! I stripped my self to the core before this pattern came to be. I had to think, what I love to knit, what am I good at?!
Coincidentally I had just been re-watching Breaking Bad and that’s where the idea for the name and the flowers came from.
Lily of the Valley is also Finlands national flower.
My mom asked me to knit her a shawl to wear around the office. She bought the yarn and I absolutely hated the color! I started and ripped tens of times before I got the idea of what I wanted to do.
Perfect wrapped shawl with cables and lillies.
The shawl is knitted in parts. Each module is the same, it’s the count that makes it either a triangle with 4 modules or a full circle shawl, that’s 8 modules. Or anything in between!
The pattern has directions for both triangle and full circle. The original in the photos is a full shawl.
The pattern is written and has a cable chart with full abbreviations.
With the recomended yarn and needle size the finish shawl will be aprox 120 cm in width.
