Lily of the Valley dress is worked from the waist up to the top and then down to the bottom. It is easy to adjust – you can make longer or shorter straps and you can adjust the length of the skirt part as well. For older kids it could be made as a top too, in this case you would need to make just a few rounds of the skirt part.
The fabric is pretty solid but breathable at the same time.

Suggested yarns:
DROPS Safran, 100% cotton, 50g / 160m (174 yds)

• crochet hook 3.5mm or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge:
17sts and 17rows in sc to measure 10x10cm or 4x4in using 3.5mm hook, or size required to obtain the gauge
