The construction of this lacy shawl is a bit unusual. The shawl consists of five panels: a wide back panel (middle section), knitted-on lace upper edge, two ‘wings’ on each side of the middle line, and a lower border.
Available sizes: one sizes. -
Charts 1, 3, 5 and 6 show only the right-side (RS) rows. On wrong-side (WS) rows all stitches are worked as they appear: knit
stitches are knitted, and purl stitches are purled, the yarn overs are purled too. The RS rows are worked from right to left. The WS rows are worked from left to right. Chart 2 and Chart 4 show both right-side and wrong-side rows. The RS rows are worked from right to left. The WS rows are worked from left to right.The selvedge stitches are not shown on charts 1,3, 5, etc. But they are shown on charts 2 and 4, you are right.

Techniques used: knit and purl, yarnover, ktbl, k2tog, ssk, psso,k3tog (with central stitch on top), “d o b”- using right needle slip the 3rd stitch on the left needle over the first two stitches, k1, yo, k1.
Finished size of the shawl will depend on the yarn weight, needle size and your individual gauge.
