Lily of the Valley Socks
This is a unique sock pattern which offers three versions with different yarn weights. Directions are written for Ladies Medium in either lace, fingering or sport weights, but can be adjusted simply by choosing a heavier yarn for a larger sock, or a lighter yarn for a smaller sock. The leg and foot are also adjustable by changing the number of repeats in the lace pattern.
Comprehensive charts for all yarn weights are included, as well as written instructions. The attractive shadow-wrap heel is smooth and seamless and offers a comfortable fit. Knit in the round on double-pointed needles, cuff down, it’s a lovely, relatively quick pattern challenging enough for an advanced knitter, but detailed enough for a new learner. Between 300 and 400 yards total of yarn are required for both socks, depending on the yarn weight chosen and the height of the leg and length of the foot.
