A lovely lily scene to delight your heart and your home.

Knitted in st.st with a mixture of stranding and intarsia.

Size depends on your yarn & needles. Big needles=big picture, small needles=smaller picture.

Yarn: Use yarn & needles of your choice, as gauge is not crucial.
Yarns need to be of similar weight, but do not need to be of the same kind.
I choose my yarns by looking at the majority of the yarns in my stash, and picking up colors that work. Then choosing needle size to match & buy more yarn if needed.

There are three color groups:
Water: Using variegated yarn, or 2 thinner yarns double stranded will make the water rich in color without much effort on your part. You can also use solids or different shades for each part of it.

Leaves: Use up all your left overs and more, cut variegated yarns to separate pieces according to colors (some of the leaves are very small) etc. If you run out of a leaf color in the middle of it, go on
knitting with a similar shade, and fix it later if needed by embroidering on it (see duplicate st).

Blooms: Lilies come in all colors – use what you like. Keep it simple, and after the knitting is done you can embroider on top of it to add shades, or some fuzzy yellow for the heart of the flower.

Needles should match your yarn weight (see suggestion on your yarn cover).

Gauge: is not crucial, and can easily be adjusted while knitting (instructions included).
