Lily Tam wird von innen nach außen in der Runde gestrickt und mit einem I-Cord abgeschlossen. Das Muster ist durchgängig zweifärbig ohne lange Spannfäden.
Die Baskenmütze ist für eine mittlere Kopfgröße von ca. 56 cm konzipiert, kann aber leicht durch Verwendung einer anderen Nadelstärke oder durch Filzen in der Größe angepasst werden. Der Durchmesser beträgt etwa 27 cm.
Bei der Farbgestaltung gibt es viel Spielraum: Du kannst die Mütze mit zwei Farben stricken, oder Dir Farbverläufe überlegen.
Der Prototyp hat vier Hintergrundfarben (Egg Shell, Ivory, Orchid und Green Mist) und zwei Musterfarben (Admiral Navy, Blueberry).
Mein Exemplar wiegt zirka 56g.

Lily Tam is knitted from the center outwards in rounds and is finished with an I-cord. It has an allover stranded pattern using two colours at a time.
The pattern is written for a medium adult head size with about 56 cm circumference. The diameter is approx. 27 cm. You can easily adjust the size by using larger needles or felting the beret once it’s finished.
Colourwise there are many possibilities: you may knit the tam in just two contrasting colours, or use various matching colours.
The prototype has four background colours (Egg Shell, Ivory, Orchid und Green Mist) and two contrasting colours (Admiral Navy, Blueberry). It weighs about 56g.
