Lime Sorbet
by Alison Makin
I created Lime Sorbet when I wanted something easier than my complicated socks, but not stockinette. It has a straightforward stitch pattern that is easily memorisable and provides you with all of the benefits of a simple sock, but with a much more interesting result.
The columns of twisted stitches provide a beautiful structure and flow into the columns on the heel flap.
You may need to knit this a size larger than normal, as I found that the columns of twisted stitches tended to stretch less than with regular ribbing.
