Worthy of Note
Limeade is worked from the bottom up in pieces. After blocking and seaming the neckband is picked up and worked in the round.
YARN
BC Garn Tussah Tweed (100% tussah silk; 273 yds/50 gm skein): spring green 14, 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins.
GAUGE
24 sts + 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st on larger needles, after blocking.
NEEDLES
1 – 16” (40 cm) US 2 (2.75 mm) circular.
1 – 32” (80 cm) US 3 (3.25 mm) circular.
Check your gauge and adjust needle size(s) accordingly if necessary.
NOTIONS
Stitch markers, tapestry needle.
SIZE
37 (41, 45, 47, 53, 57, 61)” 94 (104, 114, 119.5, 134.5, 144.5, 155) cm bust circumference. Sweater is designed to be worn with 6–8” (15–20.5 cm) positive ease. Sample shown measures 37” (94 cm) and is modeled on a 30” (76 cm) bust. Please see schematic for more detailed finished measurements.
