LimeLite is a rectangular wrap knit in two weights of yarn. The cabled body section is knit first in worsted weight, and the beaded lace borders are knit from each end, in sport weight. There is an interesting transition between these sections, that is intended to appear as a seam, but does not have the bulk of a regular seam. The lace cable edges along the sides of the cabled body are knit in. The openwork motifs provide holes to thread a drawstring along the neck edge, shaping the wrap smoothly around the shoulders.

Please Note: This pattern also requires sport weight yarn for the lace borders; the pattern version uses 3 skeins (411 yds) of (Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Sport), in the same colorway as the worsted weight listed (Green Tea Heather). 430 beads (size 6/0 or 8/0) are required for the pattern as written.

The size of the wrap is adjustable in width and length, and is being made by pattern test knitters in scarf and afghan versions. All stitch patterns are of my own design.

This pattern includes both charted and written directions. It has been test knit and tech edited.
