The Sorrento region, and particularly the peninsula, has breathtaking views to Vesuvius, the city of Naples and the island of Capri. The panoramic road bends on the coastal cliffs and passes amongst olive groves and lemon trees.
In every bar one can order a shot of Limoncello, a strong liquor made with fresh lemons.

This Limoncello shawl is inspired by the lemon trees. It is a crescent shape shawl with a generous size. Knitting begins with a Garter tab cast on. Increases are made on right side rows and are incorporated in the pattern. Delicate lace patterns refer to lemon trees, from flowers to branches. The lace on the
bottom edge reflects twisting branches and fruit- like shapes.
The picot edge adds a romantic touch to the shawl.
